Ideally located in between Meribel and Courchevel, this often overlooked resort is a more affordable alternative to it’s more well known neighbours. With long runs winding down through thick forest La Tania offers picturesque riding and is perfect for low visibility days.
La Tania’s slopes are more suitable for intermediate to advanced snowboarders compared to other 3 Valleys resorts where there are more options for beginner snowboarders. If you can already ride, La Tania provides the perfect gateway to access the more extensive areas of Courchevel and Meribel, as well as some fantastic off-piste and back country snowboarding just a couple of lifts away from the base of the resort.
However, if it is your first time or you need to have a few runs to get back into things, there’s a beginner slope at the foot of the main run back into the village served by a short drag lift which is completely free to use.
Don’t be fooled by its quiet “family resort” appearance, La Tania is known for some crazy parties and has a thriving après and nightlife scene where holiday makers and locals mix in popular bars like the Ski Lodge and Taiga into the early hours.
