CAB9 Snowboarding Instructor - Andrea Pizzo Profile Picture

Andrea Pizzo

Andrea likes to do things with a smile on his face and with his positive attitude and friendly character he’s well liked by all who meet him. Although Italian is Andrea’s mother tongue, he also speaks English, French and Spanish. Like all our team members he’s an experienced instructor and skilful snowboarder.

Where are you from?

I’m Italian, from Bardonecchia, the site for snowboarding in the 2006 Winter Olympics, but now I live in France and spend the summers in Spain.

How long have you been riding for?

After trying skateboarding and being fascinated by the feeling, I decided to do something similar in the snow, so at the age of 13 my love for snowboarding began.

How would you describe your riding style?

I have a creative style. I like to ride powder, snowparks, I like jibbing and I like to carve hard, almost touching the ground with my nose!

Your favourite trick?

Half-cab 180 method.

Describe a perfect day on the slopes?

For a perfect day I would need clear sunny skies and a metre of super-soft powder! I would spend the morning riding powder, drop the biggest cliff of my life and later a session in the park practicing new tricks. All this with my riding buddies and finishing up at the pub for a beer.

What do you enjoy about your job?

I like to put myself in my clients’ boots to find the best solutions for them and make sure they learn whilst having fun. I love my workplace and particularly enjoy transferring my passion for snowboarding to you!
